Celebrating our success

To our friends and colleagues:

The greatest message we received during the Campus Campaign simply reinforced what we've known for years: UW-Eau Claire is a community of passionate and caring individuals.

We have been most gratified to learn of the many ways faculty and staff support UW-Eau Claire and to hear what matters most to you. It is truly humbling to see the generous responses to Campus Campaign 2009-10. To date 381 UW-Eau Claire current and retired employees have already contributed more than $228,000. Close to 325 members of the campus community joined us for lunch and camaraderie.

While the active phase of the campus campaign is over, the UW-Eau Claire Foundation accepts gifts, payroll deduction pledges and other commitments throughout the year, so members of the campus community are invited and encouraged to give anytime.

We are inspired by the outstanding work accomplished daily on this campus. Thank you for everything you do to support UW-Eau Claire's mission of excellence.

Bernard “Duffy” Duyfhuizen
Associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences

Leslie Huntington
Head women’s softball coach

Supporting what is important to you
Your campus campaign contribution is your chance to immediately and directly support areas of the university where you have the greatest interest. Consider a department opportunity fund or a student organization or a cause that is important to you. See a listing of some of the established funds or write in your specific interest when you make your gift.

How to make a gift
Payroll deduction is one of the many ways to make your gift.

Cooking something up
The Student Philanthropy Organization wants UW-Eau Claire faculty and staff to know they are joining the effort to champion excellence by selling cookbooks to raise funds for the Excellence Fund of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation. The group believes that giving back to the university should be a priority for everyone on the team — students, faculty and staff. To support the efforts of the Campus Campaign they are sharing a few recipes with the faculty and staff who do so much to champion students.
