All gifts to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation through June 2005 will be counted as contributions to UW-Eau Claire's Fulfilling the Promise of Excellence campaign. You have various options when determining the best way to support excellence at UW-Eau Claire, and your generosity will be acknowledged through one or more of our donor recognition programs. You can choose to make an unrestricted or designated gift through any of the following means:

1. Outright contributions that can be used immediately for a specified purpose or kept undesignated to meet areas of greatest need.
   
2. Contributions to create new endowed funds or to support existing ones. Endowed gifts, which are placed in accounts from which only the annual investment earnings are used, exist in perpetuity to provide a sustainable source of revenue.
   
3. Gifts of securities (stocks, bonds).
   
4. Planned gifts that will be available for the university's benefit well into the future. These planned gifts, when realized, may be used outright or be endowed.
   
5. Matching gifts from the donor's and/or spouse's employer.
   
6. Pledges than can extend up to five years.
   
7. Gifts-in-kind.
