George Stephanopoulos George Stephanopoulos makes gift to Devroy Fund
George Stephanopoulos was senior adviser to President Clinton when 1970 University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire journalism graduate Ann Devroy was The Washington Post’s top White House correspondent. His admiration for her work has led him to make a $25,000 gift to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation’s Ann Devroy Memorial Fund.
Martin Mogensen Family's gifts honor slain educator's career
The family of Martin Mogensen, a 1952 UW-Eau Claire alumnus, is honoring his career as an educator, which was cut short in 1969 when he was murdered by a troubled student. The family's gifts will fund the annual Martin Mogensen Education Lecture at UW-Eau Claire.
Mollie and Clifford Rayment Alumni couple leave legacy to School of Education
The UW-Eau Claire Foundation has received $168,000 from the estate of UW-Eau Claire alumni Clifford and Mollie Rayment, both longtime educators who wished to make a difference for current and future teachers.
