About FMA


Mission Statement:

FMA's purpose shall be to assist in the professional, educational, and social development of college students interested in finance, banking and investments; provide an association for college students actively interested in these fields; and encourage interaction among business executives, faculty, and students of business and finance.

FMA was formed at the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire in May of 1982. The organization meets each week to build relationships among business students. Interaction within the organization is a key element to our success. In addition, members strive to learn about various careers in the business and financial world. Membership in FMA establishes you as an integral part of a growing network of students and professionals.

FMA's Constitution

FMA Point System

To be considered an active member in FMA you must attain at least 80 points.  At least 40 points must come from activities other than meetings.  Additionally, you must attend at least 2 socials to be an active member.
