Irene Lazda is Associate Professor of German. She has also taught English as a Second Language, most often in the summer intensive English Program. She first arrived on campus in 1969. Dr. Lazda has her Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, where she wrote on the influence of Chinese philosophy and theater on the thought and work of Bertolt Brecht. Although this topic still interests her, most recently her research has focused on German film. |
