Pamela Larson (B.S. 1995) was just honored by UWEC Education as the Cooperating Teacher of the Year for her work in Spanish at North High School in Eau Claire.

Jessica Halbesleben (now Swemke) has been honored as a 2006 Kohl Teacher Fellow. The annual Kohl awards honor a select group of Wisconsin teachers for their superior ability to inspire a love of learning in students, motivate others, and provide leadership and service within and outside the classroom.

Katie Ulman (current senior) has received the Future Foreign Language Teacher Award for the year 2006. Katie has been awarded this honor by the Wisconsin Association of Foreign Language Teachers and will be recognized for her achievements during the awards banquet during the next WAFLT conference (November 3, 2006).
