Study Abroad Course considerations:

Students in the Latin American Studies track take SPAN 352 (Contemporary Spanish American Civilization, 3 credits) plus a 3 credit course from an ITESM professor such as History of Mexican Art, History of Mexico, or Business in Mexico.

Students take courses in Spanish, at the appropriate level, and two courses in English History of Civilization of Central America (HIST 411) and an Environmental Seminar, Conservation of Sustainability (Geog LD GE III) .

  • Semester in Mexico at one of 8 ITESM system campuses

Students can take courses in Spanish and in a variety of subjects related to Latin America.

Substitutions can be accepted for other courses taken abroad after evaluation and approval by the appropriate faculty/department.

  • Semester in Santiago, Chile

    Students can take courses in Spanish and in a variety of subjects related to Latin America.
