Note: This major leads to licensure to teach German in Early Childhood through Adolescence classrooms and is accompanied by a sequence of study in the College of Education and Human Sciences that includes the foreign language methods courses CI 366 and CI 437. Middle Childhood/Early Adolescence education majors with a second major in German must complete both CI 366 and CI 437 and will be licensed to teach in Early Childhood through Adolescence classrooms.
For certification a period of residence abroad is required.
