Complete the FAFSA at the same time you complete your federal tax forms.
Although you may apply for financial aid after April 15, the aid for which you will be considered may be more limited.

An additional, separate financial aid application is required of students attending Summer Session. This application is available through the 'MyBlugold CampS.
You will receive a Pell Grant Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Federal Processor after the FAFSA is filed. If you provide an email address on the FAFSA, a link to your SAR will be sent to you via email, and you will be able to access it on-line. Otherwise a paper Student Aid Report will be mailed to you. Review the SAR for accuracy and keep it for your records. If corrections are required, this can be done either by correcting the paper SAR and returning it to the Federal Processor, or making corrections on-line. Signatures are always required when making corrections.

Financial Aid is awarded based on the student's total number of enrolled credits for the semester. Changes in enrolled credits could potentially affect the amount of financial aid for which a student is eligible, and financial aid may be adjusted (up or down) based on the student's final enrolled credits. Consequently, a repayment may become necessary - even after disbursement - if a student's enrolled credits are reduced.
Students will be paid every two weeks for student employment earnings.
