As a UW- Eau Claire Sports Club, we like to encourage participation from all members of the University. Students and staff can get involved in various ways. Our goal is to encourage the participation and enjoyment of figure skating through practice, competitions, and various social events while surrounded by a fun, positive, and energetic atmosphere.
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Figure Skating Club was established in 2002, giving members a chance to skate recreationally and/or competitively after high school. Three years later in 2005, the UWEC FSC was able to put together a synchronized skating team they named the UWEC Goldenettes. Today, the completely student-run UWEC FSC provides members with a chance to skate as an individual as well as a part of their synchronized skating team.
