    • Educating Edgewalkers: A Qualitative Study of Hmong American Teachers and the Process of Becoming Bilingual/Bicultural Educators
    • This study of 25 Hmong American pre-service and classroom teachers who are participating in ProjectTEACH, a federally funded program designed to support and educate bilingual/bicultural educators on 3 university campuses, analyzes the processes involved in becoming a bilingual/bicultural educator and explores the effects of this process on the participants. The data analysis seeks to identify patterns of similarity and themes of variability among the research participants as it seeks to explore the meanings of cultural representation and transition in educational contexts within an increasingly diverse, multiethnic society.
