GEOG 104 Exam 1 Review
Introduction
Exam 1 will emphasize lecture material and those specific sections of the text
that were assigned in class. You should, of course, read and study the pages in the text listed on the course schedule, focusing on those that cover the same topics covered in
lecture. Doing so will help you to understand the material much better and
improve your performance on the exam.
The exam will consist entirely of objective questions: multiple choice, matching, and true-false. There will be no short answer or essay questions. Some of the questions will involve interpreting maps and diagrams, so be sure you understand the maps and diagrams that were presented in lecture and those that are found in the assigned textbook readings. Some of the questions will require you to do some basic math, so a calculator might be a good thing to bring. You will be using an opscan computer-graded answer sheet to record your answers, so be sure to bring a couple (or more) sharpened soft-lead (#2) pencils and a good eraser. Also be sure you know your UWEC email name and student ID number; you'll have to put them correctly on the opscan answer sheet in order for your exam score to get recorded.
