New university student center

Project budget: $48.8 million (funded by student segregated fees)
Current status: Under construction
Approximate building size: 170,000 square feet
Location: Green space between the current Davies Center and the Phillips Hall parking lot on the south side of lower campus. When the new facility is completed, the current Davies Center will be deconstructed and transformed into a green space.
Anticipated timeline: Final design completed in late fall 2010, groundbreaking in March 2011, building construction completed summer 2012; Davies deconstruction, green space construction, completed by May 2013.
