Heating Plant Outages:
This spring's steam outage is planned for Saturday, May 16th, 2009, 6:00 p.m. through Tuesday, May 26th, 4:00 p.m. The steam outage will result in the following:

No potable hot water except in Chancellor's, Thomas, and Murray Halls, all Hall Director's apartments, Arena, Brewer, Human Sciences and Services, Library, Nursing, Crest Wellness Center and Haas Fine Arts (isolated areas). This summer's planned electrical outage will occur on Saturday, June 6, 2009. The outage will be from 7 a.m.- 3 p.m. and will affect the entire campus.

These annually-occurring utility outages allow for preventive maintenance and repairs that prevent unplanned emergency outages due to breakdowns.
