A Summary of Possible Internship Responsibilities

  • desktop publishing, writing, and editing in accordance with style guides
  • editing of manuscripts, newsletters, marketing pieces, catalogs, web pages, or software programs
  • desktop publishing of newsletters, manuscripts, handouts, brochures, posters
  • writing technical documentation, marketing pieces/catalogs, training manuals, newsletters, advertisements, news releases, grant proposals
  • conducting online and library research when necessary to obtain or verify information, to learn new skills
