The university codes of conduct deal with both academic and non-academic conduct. We have also provided information on online safety and sexual harassment.
To help students achieve their full potential and protect the integrity of the whole student body, the behavior of UW-Eau Claire students is governed by UW System codes:
Chapter 14: Student Academic Misconduct Disciplinary Procedures
This document dictates the disciplinary action against students who engage in academic misconduct such as plagiarism, unauthorized collaboration on academic projects, or cheating.
Chapter 17: Student Nonacademic Disciplinary Procedures
These policies address nonacademic behavior by students such as illegal drug use, theft, vandalism, and assault.
Chapter 18: Conduct on University Lands
This document governs conduct on the University property anyone on the campus. If a student is found in violation of UWS18 they may also be charged using UWS17.

A complete listing of all policies governing student behavior can be found in the Student Services and Standards Handbook.
Behavior in the residence halls is governed by the Housing & Residence Life Judicial Code.
