The Civil Rights Project at Harvard University - is a leading organization devoted to civil rights research.
 
 
Practices in Teaching
 
American Association of Colleges and Universities - AAC&U has provided national leadership on the issue of diversity in higher education since 1971. Of special interest are the site's resources for curriculum change.
 
Teaching Tolerance - supports the efforts of K-12 teachers and other educators to promote respect for differences and appreciation of diversity. It servers a clearinghouse of information about anti-bias programs and activities being implemented in schools across the country. The site is a web project of the Southern Poverty Law Center.
 
Poynter Institute Diversity Digest - A selection of diversity-related news stories from various media sources focusing on race/ethnicity, religion/faith, sexual orientation, gender and race relations. This site also includes a "Resource Files" section which includes articles and source materials on diversity topics.
 
Center for the Advancement of Racial and Ethnic Equality (CARRE) - was established by the American Council of Education in 1981 to address declining rates of minority participation in higher education. In 2002, CAREE, initiated a series of Occasional Papers to disseminate research and information regarding issues of race and culture in higher education.
 
University of Maryland Diversity Database - The University of Maryland's Diversity Database is a comprehensive index of multicultural and diversity resources.

Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) - the world's largest association devoted to human resource management. The organization's diversity webpages provides information regarding recruitment practices, retention programs, employee training, mentor programs, and techniques for measuring results.
 
 
Practices in Community Service
 
Cooperative Extension Diversity Website - features a "diversity toolbox" viewers can use when building a diverse team, designing a diversity website, implementing diversity climate assessment, developing programs, or creating healthy, productive interracial/multicultural communities. The site is sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension.
 
National Extension Diversity Center - a resource for extension professionals seeking ways to effectively serve and educate diverse populations. Readers are invited to share their successes, failures, program ideas and resources. The site is sponsored by Oregon State University Extension Services.
