Helping Hands Across America Food Drive

HELPING HANDS FOOD DRIVE ON NOV. 15

Blugold Dining invites you to fight hunger and help those in need across the Chippewa Valley by taking part in our Helping Hands Across America food drive on Nov. 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Davies Center main entrance, across from the Service Center. All nonperishable food and cash collected will be donated to Feed My People Food Bank in Eau Claire, benefiting senior citizens, single parents, the working poor, the homeless, the mentally ill and others. Last year’s Helping Hands Across America food drive produced 3,297 pounds of food and $1,642 in cash for Feed My People. UWEC students, faculty and staff are encouraged to collect food and cash as an organization, residence hall, department or class project. The group with the largest amount of food collected per person receives $150 in catering from Blugold Dining. Individual donations are also encouraged. Feed My People suggests donations of canned fruit, canned vegetables and peanut butter. To register your group, please complete Page 2 of the registration packet, then submit it to Blugold Dining Hilltop Center Retail Manager Paula Stytz at stytzpm@uwec.edu or in person at Riverview Cafe at the Hilltop Center by Nov. 8 at 4 p.m. For questions and additional information, please contact Stytz at 715-836-3503 or stytzpm@uwec.edu.

50/50 Meal Plan

50/50 MEAL PLAN

The 50/50 meal plan is tailored to students living in Chancellor's Hall, Priory Hall, Haymarket Landing and off campus, as well as faculty and staff. You receive 50 block meals to be used on lower campus and upper campus, as well as 50 meal plan dollars to use at any campus dining location. Unused block meals and meal plan dollars don't expire until your relationship with UWEC ends. Sign up online or in person at Blugold Card Services, located on the first floor of Davies Center, next to U.S. Bank.
