The UWEC College Democrats
would like to emphasize more so "friendraising" than
"fundraising." However, we did just drop a grand
on club t-shirts, so donations would make the club a
little less painful on its members when it comes to
buying stamps, envelopes and printing paper.
George Soros, if you are out there, make the check
payable to "UWEC College Democrats".
If you are a student, then you should first pay club
dues, either $5 or $10. If you chip in $10 you get
a free club t-shirt. Past that, a donation of time
on campus with the club would be most appreciated.
We are all poor, we know how it is.
Parents, faculty and community members, how badly do
you want to see Ron Brown and Rob Kreibich unemployed?
Governor Doyle is being targeted by the National GOP
establishment. Karl Rove sees great potential in
Mark Green and Bush himself recently came to Wisconsin
to fundraise for Mark Green. There are more than
10,000 student attending this university (many potential
first-time voters) and they are already heavily slanted
toward the liberal causes. Our organization only
needs to plan events, distribute literature and
communicate effectively with the campus community in
order to convince them that voting is important and they
should start this fall.
