The Chinese Cultural association was initially formed in March 1969 under the name of
Chinese Students Association. In order to emphazise the fact that this organization is open
to anyone interested in Chinese culture, the name is changed, and we reactivated ourselves
as the Chinese Cultural Association in march 1999.
The main purpose for this organization is twofold. Firstly, we envision this organization
as a sort of open house for anybody interested in our culture. The Chinese culture is rich with
hidden trasures awating exploration, and our wish is to be able to share this with anybody
who is interested.
Another reason is to allow students from different parts of Asia to have a connection with each
other. Every semester, students from all over Asia come into the University. This organization
is envisioned as a sort of coming together of new students and old students, helping each other
out in times of difficulties and celebrating together in times of joy.
Please check out our Constitution to know more about the purpose, and the rules of our
organization. Rules are enforced to make sure that clashes does not appear in the Organization.
Our purpose is to have fun, not to argue about politics, countries, religion, etc.
