What is Sexual Assault?

Sexual assault is the intentional unwanted touching of a person’s intimate parts for the purpose of sexually degrading or humiliating the victim, or to sexually arouse or gratify the person making the offensive contact.

Date rape is when a person’s date forces him/her to have unwanted sexual activity.

It is a criminal offense for a person to engage in sexual contact or sexual intercourse with any other person without his/her consent. This may include unwanted sexual touch, penetration, forcing or tricking a person into touching him/her, or to pose for sexually explicit photos.
