Some individuals may become victims and never tell anyone about it. Some individuals may remain silent about past abuse, whether it was rape, child sexual abuse, or incest. Regardless of whether you were sexually assaulted several weeks or years ago, it is important for you to realize that assistance is available to you. Also, a person has the right to say no to any sexual act. Likewise, each person has the right to turn down a partner with who he/she has previously consented to have sex.
