As part of a project* funded by U.W. System, students, faculty, and professionals from the region met this summer to consider how collaborative leadership principles might strengthen the preparation of students in COEHS programs. We worked for three days with Dr. Hank Rubin, author of "Tools for Collaborative Leaders", to generate a framework of ideas about collaboration as a process and collaborative leaders as facilitators. We set up some pilot projects to try out collaborative leadership concepts in various settings and put together an initial communication framework that we hope will serve as a catalyst and one context to carry the conversation forward.
You are invited to join in the conversations, participate in projects, and contribute to the development of ideas about collaborative leadership. How can you get involved?
