announced a series of forums addressing the budget challenges facing UW-Eau
Claire. Your input is welcome regarding the projected budget reductions.

Liberal
Education Initiatives and You
Be watching for information announcing a
campus-wide dialogue about liberal education via Desire2Learn coordinated
by Don Christian, Dean, Arts and Sciences and other campus members of the
UW System taskforce formed to pursue an initiative entitled The Currency of the Liberal Arts:
Rethinking Liberal Education in Wisconsin. The purpose of this dialogue
is to lead to new vision and vigor in our educational programs. Since our
newly formulated college mission upholds liberal arts principles this
opportunity for dialogue is timely and hopefully enriching.
