Based on recommendations
from the department faculty, Dean Rhoades, and Interim Provost
Tallant, Gloria Fennell has been offered the position of Chair of
the Department of Social Work. We are extremely pleased that she has
accepted the offer!

We have contacted
co-facilitators for each of the teams. The Mission/Vision team will
lead a discussion at our next College meeting Friday, September 3,
1:00-2:30
p.m. in
the Tamarack Room.
Meeting
date changed
We had hoped that Susan
Harrison could join us at our next College meeting but she is
unavailable. Given the importance of communicating with her prior to
any decision making about representation on Senate committees, we
have added a College meeting on Friday, September 24, 1:00-2:30 p.m.
(location to be determined) to the schedule. This will replace the
originally scheduled meeting on October
8th.
