The purpose of this e-newsletter is to keep you informed about the transitions and continuing developments of the College.

College Transition Team Update

Members of the College Transition Team --Sean Bulger (Kins), Gloria Fennel (SW), Carol Koroghlanian (FED), Laure O’Keeffe (SPED), Larry Solberg (CDS) and Sue Mc Intyre (CI), Committee Chair, will meet

Monday, July 19, 1:00-2:45 p.m. in HSS 151

***Meetings of the Transition Team are open to faculty and staff who want to attend. 

The meeting agenda:

1.      Review of agenda

2.      Examine draft form for sharing college name, etc. with faculty (Sue Mc)

3.      By-laws discussion

·         Section 1-3— Carol and Gloria

·         Sections 4-7— Laure and Sean

·         Sections 8-11 and additional committees—Sue and Larry

4.      Discussion of position descriptions for Associate Dean and Dean

5.      Review of revised chart for University Committee membership—Sue and Larry

6.      Adjournment and discussion of additional meeting time if needed

The Transition Team will be sending all faculty and staff a straw poll survey based on their work in progress. You will have the opportunity to respond confidentially to the survey and add any comments. I urge you to participate in this important step in the reorganization process.
