Douglas Hallatt Business Classroom

The Douglas Hallatt Business Classroom is named for Dr. Douglas Hallatt, professor emeritus and founder of the UW-Eau Claire Leadership Institute. Through his vision and the support of alumni, friends, and the business community, the Leadership Institute has grown from a seminar for a handful of resident hall assistants into a campus-wide program that has affected the lives of thousands of UW- Eau Claire students.

The Douglas Hallatt Business Classroom is used by faculty and staff in the department of Management and Marketing. The room, which features tiered seating and special videotaping equipment, was designed to facilitate student role plays, team-building exercise, group work, and student presentations.

Funds for remodeling the room were given to the College of Business by Ken and Roberta Vance, long-time contributors to the Leadership Institute.
