FREE Tech Support Offered for Laptop Requirement
Upper-level IS students are offering tech support in the Schneider Hall Lobby to make sure your laptop meets College of Business laptop requirements.
Their fall 2011 schedule is as follows:
• Mondays: 9-11am
• Tuesdays: 11am-1pm
• Wednesdays: 12-2pm
• Thursdays: 12:30-2:30pm
• Fridays: 9-11am

COB Labs Open Evenings
Hours for all labs are Sunday through Wednesday, 6 to 9 until Thanksgiving, and then 5-10 until the end of the semester. These hours start Sept 11.
The Sales Center (Schneider 322) and the BCOM room (Schneider 216) are now both capable of recording practice sessions for any class (with the help of lab monitors).
Accounting Tutoring Lab
The Accounting Tutoring Lab, located in Schneider 314, will be open to students needing help in Accounting 201 and 202 starting September 19. The lab is primarily staffed by SAS student volunteers. A schedule of the dates and times the lab is open will be circulated to all Accounting 201 and 202 students.

The Dean's Office has moved
The Dean's Office, first floor COB offices, ROTC and the Wells Fargo Conference Room moved over the summer to make space for the college's new Center for Advising, Development and Enrichment (CADE).

Finance major Jade Schantzen is blogging while studying at sea aboard the MV Explorer this summer. Schantzen is travelling from the Bahamas to Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey and Morocco, and end in Boston, MA. Senior business administration major Dane Ziperski is sharing his international internship experience with us from Kolkata, India.

SPDP Workshops
The Fall Workshop Series for the Student Professional Development Program is about to begin! All COB majors are required to complete a series of four workshops within this program. Depending on your catalogue year, the workshops are a either a graduation or an admission requirement.
If it's been a while since you registered for workshops, you can find your current registrations, as well as your history, through the following link: SPDP Registration System.
If you have a conflict and can no longer attend a workshop you registered for, follow these steps to withdraw:
1. Access the registration system through the link above. Select "workshops."
2. Click on the workshop you registered for and you will see all the sections listed. Below the section you registered for is a "withdraw" button.
3. Click on "withdraw" to remove yourself from the workshop.
**You are only able to withdraw from a workshop before the registration deadline. After that day and time, you will be charged for the workshop.
