Introducing the new COB eNewsletter for Students

After a busy couple of week collecting news and tweaking designs, we are pleased to introduce the new COB newsletter for current students. It will be sent by email to business majors on the first Thursday of every month. You can view the newsletter in the News & Events section of the COB website.

We want this newsletter to be informative, interactive and fun.  In addition to highlighting news from the COB and university website, the monthly publication will include the following special features:

• People • Places • Things – a place to highlight interesting people (advisers, professors, award winners, scholarship recipients), places (study abroad programs, buildings, labs) or things (certifications, software, hardware, awards).  Feel free to send us information for this section.

• Student Organizations -- a section devoted just to business organization news. We will feature stories (and photos) about guest speakers, special events, competitions, and awards.  Each month we will profile one student organization. We invite student organizations to send us their news.

• New on the COB website -- a short summary of additions to the COB website.

• 40 Years of Excellence -- a collection of photos highlighting the college’s past 40 years.

• Mark Your Calendar -- a list of upcoming meetings/events. Click on an icon to add events to your Outlook calendar.  We invite you to send us up coming events for this calendar.

• Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down -- a quick, fun poll soliciting students' opinions on various topics. Feel free to send us a topic.

To kick off the newsletter, we are asking you to name it. You can select from four options or suggest your own. The new name will be unveiled in the October newsletter.
