The Smart Way to Find Employment: Eau Claire’s SMARTT Network

The SMARTT Network is an online opportunity network offered through the Eau Claire Economic Development Corporation (EDC) that is designed to help small to mid-size businesses recruit talent for employment purposes. The SMARTT Network communicates these employment opportunities, while managing and building the local brand of each region or community.

Recently, the Eau Claire County Economic Development Corporation recognized the need for advancement in technology, innovation, and talent recruitment. To facilitate these efforts, the SMARTT (Strategy for Marketing and Recruiting Top Talent) Network was created. The SMARTT Network aligns with the EDC’s overall purpose, which is to develop new programs that will benefit the business community, by identifying what the needs are within the community. It is also designed to assist in the growth of Western Wisconsin by forming regional partnerships with businesses, educational institutions, technology firms, and media outlets.

The SMARTT Network allows employers to search for profiles and contact prospective employees regarding career opportunities. The Network targets university and college alumni who have 2 and 4-year degrees, those with advance degrees, and other individuals with valuable or specific work experience.
