On September 23, alumna Lee Yang, senior category management analyst for Hormel Foods, shared insight into what it is like to work for a major corporation to a small group of multicultural students in the Hormel Team Project Lab. In addition to this event, Lee also met with several marketing classes while visiting UW-Eau Claire.

More than 125 organizations, including businesses, graduate schools, and state and federal agencies participated in the 52nd annual Career Conference on Thursday, Sept. 24th in Zorn Arena.

Before heading off to their respective practicum sites, 23 health care administration students hit the water in canoes this past August. The overnight camping trip was part of a retreat and leadership seminar, lead by Douglas Olson and Jennifer Johs-Artisensi (Health Care Administration) and Justin Gardner, Coordinator of the Leadership Institute.
Congratulations Lindsey Pitzer!
Lindsey was the lucky winner of the iPod Nano, which was given away at the COB Freshmen Meeting on September 23. The drawing included all students who had completed the Jump Right In online survey for new COB freshmen over the summer.

Dr. Naomi Birdthistle, faculty member from the University of Limerick, spoke with Dr. Kristina Bourne's Management 345 class during her visit to UW-Eau Claire.
