With elections around the corner, Possibility Pete has gone patriotic for “Explore Your Possibilities Week.” Whether you are a freshman or a senior, Patriotic Pete wants YOU to have a great future!
What is the week about?
Explore Your Possibilities Week, consists of informational sessions and panel discussions that are conducted by employers from various industries, as well as UW-Eau Claire faculty and staff. Students can use the week as an on-campus opportunity to network, career plan, decide on a major, and learn how to succeed after graduation.
The week begins and ends with open houses at Career Services here on campus on Monday, October 13 and Friday, October 17. From Tuesday through Thursday, students may attend informational sessions. Last year, approximately 1,200 students attended events during Explore Your Possibilities Week. Free food and drinks along with door prizes will be included.
How can I attend?
Attending the events is simple. While it is not mandatory, students are still encouraged to pre-register at www.possiblitypete.org. All informational sessions, located in the upper level of Davies Center, are casual dress and 50 minutes in length. If you have a break in your schedule, attend a session between classes! Rachel Greely a Career Services Student Associate, has attended many of the events. She said,“the biggest mistake a student can make during Explore Your Possibilities Week is not attending.”
