Endless Possibilities: College of Business Special Recognition Event

Students are invited to attend this event

College of Business Dean Tom Dock will host a special event to recognize contributors to the college. Special recognition will be given to the following individuals and companies:

• Kenneth and Roberta Vance for providing money for the Douglas Hallatt Business Classroom (Schneider 310). The Vances also provided funding for the Ken and Roberta Vance Leadership Classroom (Schneider 311). The Vances have also been active contributors to the college's Leadership Institute.

• National Presto Industries, Inc. for supporting the Student Professional Development Program. The college will launch its first workshop in December.

• Hormel Foods for providing funds to update the Hormel Team Lab. New monitors will be installed in the room later this semester.

• Cintas and Hormel Foods for co-sponsoring the UW-Eau Claire Sales Competition, a regional competition that allows highly talented students to exhibit and enhance their selling skills.

The college will also be recognizing the following people/organizations for their ongoing contributions: Ayres Associates; Steve Bateman, Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers; Cargill; James Vaudreuil, President & CEO, Huebsch Services; Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company; Marquette Bank; Susan Tietz, President & Owner, McDonough Mfg; R.W. Scobie; Wells Fargo Bank; Wipfli; US Bank; and Xcel Energy.

  Cheer for the Homecoming Parade Grand Marshall, Dr. Chuck Tomkovick, who received the Excellence in Teaching Award.
