Helping the Earth
Students in Dr. Nancy Rasmussen's Business Ethics course celebrated Earth Day by participating in three activities with University businesses. The students have discussed the sustainable business practices of Sodexho, Veolia, Barnes and Noble and Better World Books. Service activities included boxing up 4,500 pounds of out-of-use textbooks for “Books for Africa”, returning and recycling rental texts to university departments and working at Davies Center composting locations to instruct students on which food service items to compost.
