Enhance Your Leadership and Teamwork Skills:
Join the American College of Health Care Administrators
As a member of the UW-Eau Claire student chapter of the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA), you will learn more about your chosen profession by networking with long-term care administrators, listening to guest speakers and touring health care facilities. You will further your leadership and career development by planning and participating in meetings, fundraisers, and volunteer activities. And you will have fun -- you will meet other HCAD students through social events and recreational activities.
The UW-Eau Claire chapter of ACHCA is part of a national organization, which was founded in 1962 to provide educational programming, certification and career development for its members. Marianna Kern Grachek, ACHCA national president/CEO will be on campus, Thursday, April 19, to meet with UW-Eau Claire ACHCA student members at the CHASE annual spring banquet.
The UW-Eau Claire student chapter of ACHCA is open to any HCAD student in good academic standing. Dues are $25 per semester and cover the cost of membership in the national ACHCA organization as well as the local chapter.
