Health Care Administration Program accepting applications for admission to the program
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Health Care Administration Program is accepting applications for admission to the program. Prospective or Pre-HCAD students seeking more information about the HCAD program and the required application for admission process should plan to attend. The spring 2012 admissions process is the final opportunity to gain admission to the 2013 Practicum cohort.

UW-Eau Claire Activities and Programs is soliciting nominations for outstanding UW-Eau Claire students, student organization advisers, and student organizations for the university-wide awards. Nominations can be made on the Activities and Programs website. A special selection committee will review all nominations and applications.

UW-Eau Claire College of Business student creates own dictionary
When UW-Eau Claire student Josh Abramson studied last year for his Graduate Record Examinations—the tests taken before applying to graduate school—he found one aspect particularly challenging: vocabulary.
"Half the GRE is vocab-based knowledge," said Abramson, who will graduate in May with his second bachelor's degree from the university. "If I had to look up a few words, it would take me 20 to 25 minutes because the way the definitions were worded were so confusing."

UW-Eau Claire Office of Multicultural Affairs, Student Support Services, and Career Services is excited to announce the second annual Career Jumpstart event offered exclusively for multicultural students:
Tuesday, February 7, 5-7pm
Tamarack Room, Davies Center
All companies sponsoring this event are interested in meeting and hiring students of color for internships and full-time employment opportunities. All majors and years of school welcome. Business casual attire. Resumes not required.
Dinner will be provided during a panel discussion and afterwards students will have the opportunity to network with employers. RSVP by Friday February 3.
