The College of Business has new faculty and staff joining this semester. We welcome the following individuals:
Harry Harvey, M.B.A., Lecturer Management & Marketing
Mr. Harry Harvey joins the management and marketing department this semester as a lecturer. He currently teaches BSAD 280.
Mr. Harvey received both his B.S. and M.B.A degrees from UW-Eau Claire. His past job experience includes positions at Uniroyal-Goodrich, Honeywell, Celestic, and TTM. He has also taught classes for the COB, including BSAD 340, 431, 342 and 441.
In his free time, Mr. Harvey enjoys attending athletic events and participating in outdoor activities, especially ones in northern Wisconsin.
Cynthia Hofacker, M.S.T., Instructional Program Manager
Ms. Cindy Hofacker joined the COB at the beginning of the 2008-2009 academic year as coordinator of the Essentials, a new certificate program available to non-business majors. She will be teaching Introduction to the World of Business and Essentials of Business Communication starting this semester.
Ms. Hofacker is no stranger to the College of Business and UW-Eau Claire where she earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. For eight years, Cindy taught business education classes in Ladysmith and Menomonie. She then moved to UW-Eau Claire where she taught in both the College of Business and College of Education. She was also the first Coordinator of Distance Learning for the COB and enjoyed the challenges of creating the first online MBA program with partner schools. In 2001, she accepted the position as president of Catholic Area Schools of Eau Claire where she worked for the last seven years.
She spends her spare time traveling, relaxing at her family's cabin north of Eau Claire and following Eau Claire Regis Rambler athletics.
