AMA is Saving Lives, One Donor at a Time
By Kerstyn Rasins
On November 30th-December 2nd, the American Marketing Association (AMA) held an event to promote organ donation through a program called AMA Saves Lives. Their event, held in Schneider Hall, set out to create awareness about organ donation around campus and to obtain new registered donors. AMA is competing to obtain the most registrants for their upcoming Nationals competition in March 2011 by continuing to raise awareness about organ donation.
As of March 29, 2010, Wisconsin created a new law that forces all potential organ donors to register online. Therefore, anyone who has registered through the DMV before this time is no longer on the registered donor list and must re-register online. To register, please visit www.amasaveslives.com
