University to Pilot ROTC Program Next Year
Through a joint-venture, the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps and UW-Eau Claire will pilot a one-year ROTC curriculum starting in the 2009-2010 school year which will focus on leadership development. If approved for a permanent basis, the program will be housed in the COB Center for Leadership.

Enjoy Dinner While Supporting PSE
Pi Sigma Epsilon, a professional sales student organization and Boston's are sponsoring a night for UW-Eau Claire students on Tuesday, April 7 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Proceeds from this event will go toward PSE to help fund future organization expenses.
AMA Attends International Conference, Chapter Receives Award
A group of eleven members from the UW-Eau Claire chapter of the American Marketing Association attended the 31st Annual International Collegiate Conference held March 26–28 in New Orleans, LA. The students took part in the conference to become better prepared to launch successful marketing careers and compete against 146 universities from across North America.

Lands' End will still offer scholarships to students pursuing careers in finance, management, marketing, merchandising, retail or design and who are interested in internships or employment with the company. Follow the link below to find out about the new application process

Lands' End will also offer $1,000 grants for on-campus student organizations to be put toward learning opportunities which go beyond classroom study. Preference is given to organizations in the fields of finance, marketing, merchandising, retail, and apparel design.
The application deadline is Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Selections will occur in November, and awards will be distributed in January.
