UW-Eau Claire Comes Out On Top at Sales Competition

Host school UW-Eau Claire took top honors at the first annual Great Northwoods Sales Warm-Up on Saturday November 17. The team of Heidi Accola, Brandon Buth, Laura Dahlstrom, Mike Gore, Pat Lipinski, Charles Lymangood, Heather Maul, Kari Schmidt, Garrett Ullom, Jenna Weber and Sarah Wienke received the Team Award for the college with the highest score.

Three members from the team also took part in the championship round. Maul, a senior mass communication major and marketing minor from Lomira, WI was named Best Overall Salesperson. Ullom, a senior marketing and professional sales major from Roberts, WI was first runner up. Weber, a senior marketing major from Bryant, WI was second runner up.

Wienke, a senior marketing and professional sales major from Amery, WI was the forth place finisher on the team. Together, Maul, Ullom, Weber and Wienke will represent UW-Eau Claire at the National Sales Competition at Kennesaw State University in Georgia, March 14 and 15, 2008.
