The seventh oldest brewery in the United States and the oldest business in the city of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Leinenkugel Brewing Co. has continued to brew the “Flavor of the Northwoods” for over 140 years. With seven beers brewed year-round and 4 brewed seasonally, the company is known for its craft style beer that has a fan club of over 175,000 members.
Merging with Miller Brewing Company in 1988 has given the company to continually expand their business and add a second brewery, the 10th Street Brewery in Milwaukee, to develop new beers and continue to meet the demand for their beer.
The original brewery in Chippewa Falls is a historic landmark and in addition, the Leinie’s Lodge is a popular tourist destination for visitors to the city and the surrounding Chippewa River Valley area.
