Dear Institute Participant,

Summer is almost here, and with that, the Leadership Institute is right around the corner! We are looking forward to having a great session of leadership studies at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I have enclosed a map to Eau Claire and final details for the Institute this summer. If you have not already done so, please complete both sides of your Emergency Consent forms and mail them, along with your final payment, to the Leadership Office as soon as possible.

The following is a list of important dates and times:

• Check-in is from 11:00am to 11:45am, on the first day of your session, in the lobby of Towers Hall. Lunch will not be served so you may want to have lunch before you arrive.

• The camp will begin at 12:00pm with a short introduction of programming and Institute staff.

• The camp will conclude at 4:00pm on the last day of your session.

• In case of emergency, your parent or guardian can contact you by calling one of the following numbers (there will not be a phone in your room in the Towers, but you will have access to a pay phone):

The atmosphere of the Leadership Institute is casual. The rooms will have sheets, pillows and a light blanket in them. They are not air-conditioned. The following list contains suggested items to bring:

Clothing: Dress casually but be sure to consider weather appropriate clothing and clothing that allows you to be active. Don’t forget a pair of comfortable supportive shoes!
