Information Systems Scholarship Winners Announced

The Department of Information Systems in College of Business has awarded scholarships to 15 students for the 2009 - 2010 academic year. Three of these students were each awarded a $700 Laptop Computer Fund Scholarship toward the purchase of a new laptop computer that will meet the new COB requirement. Congratulations to the following students:

  • Cargill ($300): Zachary Basler, a junior IS, business analysis major from Menasha, Wis.
  • Federated Insurance ($1000): Pierce Koch, a senior IS, business analysis and communications double major from Green Bay, Wis.
  • Germonprez Family Information Systems ($2000); 3M Information Systems ($400): Kristin Bomber, a senior IS, business analysis major from Eau Claire, Wis.
  • Germonprez Family Information Systems ($1000): Natalie Warnert, a senior IS, business analysis major from Sauk Rapids, Min.
  • Information Systems Fund ($500): R. Thore Koch, a senior IS, business analysis and Spanish double major from Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.
  • Laptop Computer Fund ($700 toward purchase of new laptop): Joshua Goldner, a senior IS, business analysis major from Slinger, Wis.
  • Laptop Computer Fund ($700 toward purchase of new laptop): Jeremiah Isaacson, a junior IS, business analysis major from Eleva, Wis.
  • Laptop Computer Fund ($700 toward purchase of new laptop): Heather Kapps, a senior IS, business analysis major from Weston, Wis.
  • St. Paul Travelers ($1666): Heidi Bartling, a junior IS, business analysis major from Middleton, Wis.
  • St. Paul Travelers ($1666); 3M Information Systems ($400): Lucas Komiskey, a senior IS, business analysis and computer science double major from Tomah, Wis.
  • St. Paul Travelers ($1667): Bryant Seppelt, a senior IS, systems development major from Foley, Min.
  • Willard and Carol Korn ($250): David Jacobs, a senior IS, systems development major from Cameron, Wis.

Scholarship recipients and donors will be recognized at the College of Business Scholarship Luncheon, Friday, December 4, 2009 from 12 noon – 1:30 pm in the Davies Center Tamarack Room.
