IS Department Hosts 25th Annual IT Conference, March 5-6, 2009

Scalability in IT and Teaching was the theme of the 25th annual Information Technology Conference for Wisconsin Technical College Instructors. The conference, which was hosted by the UW-Eau Claire Department of Information Systems, was held March 5-6, 2009 at the Best Western Trail Lodge Inn & Suites in Eau Claire, WI.

Highlights of the conference included keynote presentations on development tools, the growing role of video game development in IT education, system security, and methods for encouraging student success. The annual outstanding service award was presented to Joe Cicero, network specialist instructor at Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay.
