Volunteers Needed for Internship Mania, Wed. Feb. 6

Career Services is looking for volunteers to help with Internship Mania, Wednesday, February 6. Volunteers are needed to shuttle employers and help them unload their displays. This is a great opportunity for students to get one-on-one, informal face time with recruiters prior to Internship Mania.

The following volunteers are needed:

  • Drivers. Shuttle drivers are needed to work from 7:30 to 10:30 am on the morning of Internship Mania. Drivers must have a valid driver's license checked through the UW-Eau Claire Office of University Police. Drivers are required to attend an information meeting, Monday, February 4 at 6 pm in Davies Center Arrowhead Room.

  • Morning Unloading. Students are needed the morning of Internship Mania to unload displays. Volunteers are needed for the following shifts: 7:30-8:30 am, 8:30-9:30 am, and 9:00-10:00 am. Volunteers should dress warm as this is an outdoor position. Attendance at the information meeting, Monday, February 4 at 6 pm in the Davies Center Arrowhead Room is recommended by not required.

  • Afternoon Tear Down and Loading. A few volunteers are need from 3 4:30 pm to help recruiters tear down their displays. Volunteers should dress warm as this is an outdoor position. Attendance at the information meeting, Monday, February 4 at 6 pm in the Davies Center Arrowhead Room is recommended by not required.


All volunteers should email Jesica Witte, Career Services, as soon as possible to let her know they are interested in helping with Internship Mania.
