Jenna Weber, a marketing major from Bryant, Wis, will present the 'Reflections' speech at the University's Winter Commencement, held Saturday, Dec. 20, at 9:30 am in Zorn Arena. In her speech, titled "Two Hands," Weber will reflect on things she learned while as a student at UW-Eau Claire. She also will use humor to ponder some of life's unanswered questions including, "What is a Blugold?."
A University Honors Program student, Weber has been involved with numerous campus and COB activities including American Marking Association, Campus Ambassadors, and the UW-Eau Claire Women's Volleyball team, where she was voted captain. She was also second runner-up in the 2007 Great Northwoods Sales Warm-Up, a regional sales competition held at UW-Eau Claire. As a result of her accomplishment, Weber went on to represent UW-Eau Claire at the National Collegiate Sales Competition, held at Kennesaw State University in Georgia in March.
After graduation, Weber will move to Kansas City, Kan. where she will work for Hormel as a sales representative.
