Terence C. McMahon will receive the Lifetime Excellence Award from the UW-Eau Claire Alumni Association as part of Winter Commencement on Saturday, Dec. 20. McMahon, who graduated from the College of Business in 1978 with a degree in marketing, will also deliver the "Charge to the Class" at both ceremonies.
For the past 24 years, McMahon has been involved in industrial real estate with the The Harrigan CO. based in the Milwaukee area. His past projects include the sale of the Pabst Brewery properties and sale of Ameritech properties during the federally mandated telecommunications break-up.
In addition, McMahon is founder and vice chairman of Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin on Milwaukee's lakefront.
The Lifetime Excellence Award is presented to alumni who have demonstrated outstanding commitment their career and community through service and by living their lives through UW-Eau Claire's motto of "Excellence."
