Graduation Set for August 4: Tomkovick and Boettcher to Key Deliver Addresses
Summer commencement exercises for 202 candidates for graduation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, in Zorn Arena at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. A total of 171 undergraduate students will receive bachelor's degrees including 68 from the College of Business. Four students will receive a master of business administration degrees.
Dr. Charles Tomkovick, professor of management and marketing and recipient of the 2006 Excellence in Teaching Award, will deliver the "Charge to the Class." Lisa Ann Boettcher, De Pere, a candidate for a bachelor's degree in health care administration, will present "Reflections."
A reception for graduates and guests will follow the ceremony on the lawn near the clock tower on the Central Campus Mall. The rain site will be the Spruce-Tamarack Room of Davies Center.
