Lindsey Zastrow, a December 2006 graduate from Green Bay, Wisconsin, was named the 2007 Outstanding COB Senior by the College of Business faculty and staff. Zastrow, a marketing major with a professional sales emphasis also received minors in Latin American Studies and Spanish. She graduated summa cum laude. Her academic advisor was Dr. Rama Yelkur.
While at UW-Eau Claire, Zastrow was a resident assistant for Sutherland Hall and a UW-Eau Claire campus ambassador. She studied at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, and completed two sales and marketing internships: one for Realityworks, Inc. and the other for The Buckle. In 2006, she placed first in the service category and fourth overall at the National Collegiate Sales Competition at Kennesaw State University in Georgia.
This summer, Zastrow will begin a full-time sales career with Mohawk Industries, a leading manufacturer of carpet, rugs, hardwood floors, laminate, ceramic tile, and vinyl flooring.
