Lucretia Mattson wins 2007 Distinguished Career Award

Lucretia MattsonLucretia Mattson (Accounting and Finance) was presented the 2007 Distinguished Career Award by the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA), March 12, 2007 in Brookfield, WI. This award is given to members who have shown leadership, have made significant contributions to the profession, and have outstanding records of service to the WICPA and their local community.

An active WICPA member, Mattson was the second female CPA to serve as president of the WICPA and the third educator in the role. She achieved the WICPA Achievement Award in 1998, for her role in the statewide component of the CPA Vision Project, a national grassroots effort designed to give CPAs input into forging the future of their own profession. Mattson is also the recipient of the WICPA Spirit Award in 1995, and the WICPA Teacher of the Year Award in 1993.
